Apr 13, 09:38 AM

Welcome back to a new semester at Film Unit! We are VERY happy to announce the first Special Showing of the semester- ‘Crash’!

Asha for Education are a non-profit organisation that aims to catalyze socio-economic change in India through education of underprivileged children. All money raised on this event will go towards funding educational projects in India.

‘Crash’ follows several stories that are interwoven during two days in Los Angeles. The film involves a police detective with a drugged out mother and a thieving younger brother, two car thieves, the white district attorney and his irritated and pampered wife, a racist white veteran cop who disgusts his more idealistic younger partner, a successful Hollywood director and his wife who must deal with the racist cop, a Persian-immigrant father, a Hispanic locksmith and his young daughter who is afraid of bullets, and many more. Their intricate story is all brought together to make a riveting film!

So come along and watch a great film and do your part for charity at the same time! 7.30pm, Student Union Auditorium for only £2.50 at the Box Office!
