We are based in the Sheffield Students' Union Nelson Mandela Auditorium. Make your way to the Students' Union, located in Western Bank (just off Glossop Road). Once inside, you can find us by desending the stairs located outside Coffee Revolution. Failing that, any of the Union staff will be able to point you in the right direction.
Film Unit is easily accessible by tram - our closest tram stop is University of Sheffield. This is on both the Blue Route (Malin Bridge/ Halfway) and the Yellow Route (Middlewood/ Meadowhall Interchange).
A detailed list of all bus services that serve the University campus, their timetables and live departure information can be found by clicking any of the bus stops on the Travel South Yorkshire interactive public transport map.
Unfortunately, street parking is not plentiful. There is a pay and display car park at the end of Broomspring Lane, opposite the Jesus Centre - just off the ring road. There is also some four hour FREE parking spaces dotted around Broomhall (accessible from Brunswick Street, Park Lane or Broomspring Lane), although these spaces are often full. Most parking spaces are resident/permit parking only Monday – Friday until 6.30pm.
Visitors and those attending evening/weekend activities can be directed to use Q-Park on Durham Road, with pre-booking facilities available. Special promotional evening rates are available at Durham Road and, from January, we will be offering weekend rates of £5 for all day parking Saturday and Sunday. Click here to pre-book parking.
